Defleshed was founded by guitarist Lars, erstwhile of the bands Convulsion and Inanimate; he was joined by ex-Crematorium bassist Gustaf shortly later recording a demonstration. Several tracks from the demonstration that later became their debut album were released on an Italian unmarried and a German compilation; the mini-album Ma Belle Scapelle was released by Invasion in 1994 and was followed in 1996 by a full-length debut, Abrah Kadavrah. The set made its debut in the U.S. market place in 1998 with Under the Blade; Fast Forward and Death the High Cost of Living and Abrah Kadavrah: Ma Belle Scalpelle followed in 2000.

Winehouse leaves rehab to apply for visa

Singer Amy Winehouse left the rehab clinic where she is being treated for a short time yesterday in order to apply for a US visa.
According to reports, Winehouse left her London clinic for a few hours to meet with officials at the US Embassy.
She was accompanied by her father Mitch and a nurse, as the terms of her treatment require her to remain under supervision at all times.
Winehouse sported her custom black beehive, which had not made an appearance in recent weeks, after the star cut her hair and bleached it blonde.
It is thought that Winehouse is seeking a US visa in order to travel to Los Angeles to perform at the Grammys on 10 February. She is nominated for six awards at the ceremony.
The singer's visa application will not be simple due to the fact that she was arrested and fined in Norway for possession of cannabis.
A spokesperson for Winehouse said: "The appointment at the US Embassy was made some time ago and was part of process for obtaining a visa. No decision has been made about the Grammys."
"Amy was accompanied by a nurse as the appointment was under supervision. She has not left rehab and remains under the care of the clinic."

Katie Holmes congratulates Kidman

Actress Katie Holmes has congratulated her husband's former wife Nicole Kidman on her pregnancy.
According to People magazine, the 29-year-old actress, who is now married to Tom Cruise, said: "I'm so happy for her. It's wonderful."
Kidman announced earlier this week that she is expecting a baby with her singer husband Keith Urban.
The 40-year-old actress pulled out of filming for her next movie 'The Reader'.
Kidman and Cruise have two adopted children from their marriage, 15-year-old Isabella and 12-year-old Conor.
